About Kayla Egle

I have always had a passion to use my creative eye. With my degree from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, I apply that to my practice.

As a Milwaukee based illustrator and graphic designer specializing in digital work, I use lighter colors in a whimsical and imaginative style. I enjoy working with different textures where viewers will mistake my digital works for hand-made pieces. And I love creating clean but organic looks, enjoying the minimalistic with a touch of tatter and imperfection.

Dyslexia and Dysautonomia can be considered invisible disabilities, which comes with its own unique struggles. I may look young and healthy on the outside, but face extra hurdles everyday just to complete simple tasks both physically and mentally. Over the years I had to change my work style to fit my bodies needs, and even lost a few jobs due to my disorders. But still I strive to improve and little by little I’m figuring things out and am finding my place as a professional artist in this world.
