Cultivation Crew: Financial Literacy at Blossom IDD
Are you looking to build money-management skills and gain financial confidence? Join Blossom IDD as we partner with Associated Bank for a series of free financial literacy classes. This four-part program offers easy-to-understand lessons on saving, budgeting, and more—perfect for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) who want to become more confident in handling their finances.

Handling money effectively is a crucial skill for everyday life. Whether you’re managing a monthly budget, learning how to save, or exploring banking options, being financially literate helps you achieve greater independence and peace of mind.

Four-Part Series Schedule
While it’s highly recommended you attend all four sessions (as each builds on previous lessons), you are welcome to sign up for individual classes if needed. Sessions run from 4:00pm to 5:30pm on Wednesdays.

Note: Topics are currently TBD, but may include budgeting basics, checking and savings accounts, paying bills on time, and understanding credit.
Who Should Attend?
- Adults with IDD (Ages 18+) aiming to improve money-handling skills
- Individuals comfortable with basic reading or willing to bring a support person if needed
- Those interested in learning practical tips and building independence around finances

- Cost: Free.

- Want to Volunteer? We have 5 volunteer slots per class. You can help participants take notes, stay on task, or practice new skills.
