Green Grass: Community Volunteer Program at Blossom IDD
At Blossom IDD, we believe in being active members of our communities—not just by enjoying what they offer, but also by giving back. That’s why we’re have launched Green Grass, a volunteer-focused program that takes place once a month (approximately eight times a year) in Milwaukee and Ozaukee Counties. Each session, participants will gather at different local organizations to lend a helping hand and make our community a better place. We encourage anyone who is participating with Blossom IDD to make a goal to participate with the Green Grass program once a season!
Why “Green Grass”?
The name is inspired by the saying, “The grass isn’t always greener on the other side.” While we can’t guarantee greener grass everywhere, we aim to do our part in making our shared spaces as welcoming, vibrant, and healthy as possible!
