Based on their frustration of finding information to assist their daughter Dakota, Mike and Cindi Purnell created Blossom IDD to answer the need for information, educational opportunities, and community connection for adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) and their families. 

Where do you go if you are an adult with IDD and you need job skills training, peer support, or help navigating the governmental systems? Where can adults with IDD and their families access resources in their own communities?

Blossom IDD works tirelessly to help adults with IDD reach their highest potential in life through innovative programs that foster friendship, growth, and fun!

Mike and Cindi’s ultimate goal was to relieve some of the stress they experienced and create a platform that provides a comprehensive launchpad for adults with IDD and their families. 

The result is Blossom IDD, a one-stop-shop where you can have the information you need right at your fingertips.
