About Emma Gaffney
Hi everyone! My name is Emma Gaffney and I am so proud to be a part of something big here at Blossom IDD I am originally from Minnesota, but have been a proud Wisconsinite since 2017. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Disability Studies from Concordia University Wisconsin in 2021, before continuing my education at Marquette University, where I completed my Master’s in Mental Health Counseling in 2023. Throughout my studies I focused on supporting individuals with disabilities work towards goals of independence and mental wellness.
Currently, I serve as a Senior Mentor at Harrigan Development Services, where I provide mental health and independent living skills support to my various clients. I am a Certified Clinical Rehabilitation Counselor, specializing in mental health and disability services.
In my free time, I like to cuddle with my pet cat, Millie, read as many books as I can, and I am even learning how to crochet! I absolutely love being a part of the Blossom IDD community and am honored to be serving on the board.
