About Mike Purnell
Mike, along with his wife, had the vision to provide his daughter Dakota and others in the IDD community with opportunities to work and develop the life skills necessary to not just survive, but to thrive. This is why they founded Blossom IDD. Now sitting on the board in his leadership role the past years, Mike has worked tirelessly to get Blossom where it is today.
With a passion for creating meaningful experiences, Mike is dedicated to ensuring that individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) have opportunities for discovery, enrichment, learning, social interaction, and personal achievement.
Mike also champions the development of talents and skills within the IDD community, empowering individuals to create handcrafted items that can be sold to gain financial independence while building valuable social and community skills.
